As a Night Shift Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our operations run smoothly during the critical overnight hours. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Operate and Monitor Equipment: Safely operate powered industrial trucks and other specialized equipment provided by the company.
- Load and Unload Freight: Efficiently manage the receiving, sorting, and staging of inventory during night shifts.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Inventory Management: Utilize scanning technology to update inventory systems in real-time.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with day-shift supervisors and team members to ensure seamless workflow transitions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Minimum educational requirement.
- Previous Experience: 1+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or material handling is preferred.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work nights (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Equipment Operation: Experience with forklifts (certification a plus but not always required).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and inventory counts.
