Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Create quantum error correction protocols achieving >99.9% fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in quantum system integration
- Research and prototype novel quantum hardware components for 2026 deployment targets
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum communication security frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and compiler design
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and qubit control interfaces
- Strong background in topological quantum computing models
- Proven track record of leading quantum hardware-software co-design projects
