Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures and error-correction frameworks
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Lead research initiatives in fault-tolerant quantum computing and hybrid quantum-classical workflows
- Document architecture specifications and create implementation roadmaps
- Mentor junior engineers and foster cross-functional innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware architecture
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
