Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in machine learning and cryptography
- Lead experiments on superconducting qubit systems to achieve 99.9% fidelity
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum processor architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $2M+ in government grants for quantum research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Proven ability to lead complex multi-disciplinary research teams
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control electronics
