Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance and healthcare
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards for 2026 infrastructure
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science through our academic partnership program
- Translate theoretical research into patentable quantum computing architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or ion trap technologies
- Track record of securing DOE or NSF quantum research grants
