- Monitor and moderate real-time chat conversations across multiple platforms (social media, forums, live streams)
- Enforce community guidelines and content policies with consistent judgment
- Identify and escalate inappropriate content, harassment, or safety concerns
- Document moderation actions and maintain detailed activity logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve moderation strategies
- Provide exceptional user support during high-traffic periods
- Analyze conversation trends to report emerging issues or opportunities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in content moderation or community management
- Exceptional written communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with moderation tools (e.g., ModTools, Khoros, Zendesk)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital communities
- High attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
- Available to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
