Responsibilities
- Monitor and Moderate: Review and moderate user-generated content in real-time chat channels to ensure compliance with community guidelines and safety standards.
- Conflict Resolution: De-escalate tense situations and resolve user disputes professionally and efficiently.
- User Support: Provide accurate information and helpful solutions to user inquiries via live chat.
- Policy Enforcement: Identify and remove spam, harassment, or inappropriate content while adhering to company protocols.
- Community Engagement: Foster a positive and welcoming environment by actively participating in discussions and encouraging positive user behavior.
- Reporting: Document incidents and provide weekly reports to the management team regarding community health and emerging trends.
- Training: Assist in onboarding new community members and educating them on community standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, social media moderation, or community management is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
- Typing Speed: Minimum of 45 WPM with high accuracy.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with chat platforms, social media tools, and basic computer applications.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for spotting inappropriate content and a strong understanding of internet safety.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Location: Must reside within the United States, specifically in or willing to commute to Atlanta, GA.
