Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time chat conversations across multiple platforms using provided moderation tools
- Enforce community guidelines with fairness and consistency
- Identify and escalate inappropriate content, harassment, or policy violations
- Respond to user inquiries and resolve conflicts professionally
- Document moderation activities and compile weekly performance reports
- Collaborate with team leads to refine moderation strategies
- Participate in monthly training sessions on platform updates
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service or moderation experience
- Exceptional written communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and pattern recognition abilities
- Comfortable with rotating shifts including evenings/weekends
- Proficient in typing (60+ WPM) and multitasking
- Must reside in Buffalo, NY metropolitan area
