Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time chat conversations across multiple platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines
- Proactively identify and address inappropriate content, harassment, and policy violations
- Facilitate constructive discussions and de-escalate conflicts with emotional intelligence
- Collaborate with product teams to refine moderation tools and protocols
- Generate detailed reports on community trends and moderation incidents
- Mentor junior moderators and contribute to best practices development
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance user safety features
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in content moderation or community management
- Exceptional written communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with moderation tools (e.g., ModSquad, Khoros, or similar)
- Familiarity with digital platform safety policies and regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
- Deep understanding of online community dynamics and digital culture
- BA/BS in Communications, Psychology, or related field preferred
