Responsibilities
- Monitor live chat channels and forums to ensure compliance with community guidelines.
- Respond to user inquiries and messages in a professional, friendly, and timely manner.
- Identify, de-escalate, and resolve conflicts or abusive behavior within chat rooms.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for all community members.
- Document reported issues and escalate complex cases to the senior moderation team.
- Assist in moderating user-generated content to prevent spam or inappropriate material.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- Excellent written communication skills with a focus on grammar and tone.
- Ability to type at least 40 words per minute accurately.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
- Previous experience in customer service, content moderation, or social media management is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
