Responsibilities
- Device Configuration: Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot company-issued laptops, monitors, and peripherals for remote employees.
- Technical Support: Provide remote technical support to staff regarding hardware and software installation issues.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of equipment sent to various locations, including Boston and Georgia.
- Onboarding Support: Guide new hires through the setup process of their provided equipment and remote access tools.
- Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of equipment to new team members.
- Software Updates: Manage patch management and software updates for all remote workstations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in IT support, equipment management, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, remote desktop software, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Reliability: Stable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
