Responsibilities
- Manage and Scale Infrastructure: Monitor, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) to ensure 99.99% uptime for our clients.
- Automate Deployment: Design and implement CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab) to streamline release processes and reduce manual errors.
- Incident Response: Handle critical system alerts and resolve technical issues proactively during the night shift rotation.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze resource usage and implement strategies to reduce cloud spending and improve efficiency.
- Security Compliance: Enforce security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments on nightly builds to maintain SOC2 compliance.
- Scripting & Automation: Write Python/Bash scripts to automate repetitive manual tasks and improve system workflows.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Systems Administration.
- Cloud Mastery: Strong proficiency with AWS, GCP, or Azure services and architecture.
- Tools: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform is highly preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work Night Shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM EST).
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Communication: Ability to document technical processes clearly for the day-shift handover.
