Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual instruction in core subjects (Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies)
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with California State Standards
- Utilize interactive digital tools to create engaging, interactive lessons
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed progress reports to parents
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to refine teaching materials
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and academic advisors
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred)
- California teaching credential or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years classroom or tutoring experience
- Proficiency in virtual classroom platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of K-12 curriculum and assessment methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to diverse learning styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
