Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA)
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with student goals and school curricula
- Utilize interactive digital tools and platforms to enhance remote learning experiences
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Collaborate with tutors and curriculum specialists to refine teaching methodologies
- Maintain accurate session documentation and progress reports
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual communication tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two core academic areas
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with diverse learners
- Colorado teaching certification preferred but not required
- Background check and child safety certification required
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office space
