Responsibilities
- Conduct 1:1 and small group online tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, etc.)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student goals
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, assessment software) for dynamic learning
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed performance reports to parents/clients
- Maintain accurate session logs and documentation in our learning management system
- Collaborate with academic coordinators to refine tutoring methodologies
- Participate in ongoing professional development for pedagogical innovation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years verified tutoring or teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual classroom tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, specialized edtech)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least one core academic area
- Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- State teaching certification or equivalent credentials
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Background check clearance required
