Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents
- Utilize digital tools (Zoom, interactive whiteboards) for effective instruction
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address student needs
- Prepare students for standardized tests and subject mastery
- Maintain accurate session records and progress reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience
- CA teaching certification (or equivalent) for K-12 subjects
- Expertise in SAT/ACT prep, STEM subjects, or language arts
- Strong technological proficiency with virtual learning platforms
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Background check and fingerprinting clearance required
