Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in Math, Science, English, and SAT/ACT prep
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Baltimore County curriculum standards
- Track student progress using our proprietary learning management system
- Provide timely feedback and progress reports to parents and school partners
- Maintain 95%+ student engagement and satisfaction metrics
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
- Collaborate with academic coordinators to optimize learning outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years teaching/tutoring experience with Baltimore County students
- Expertise in at least two core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, History)
- Proven ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Proficiency with virtual classroom tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, Khan Academy)
- State teaching certification (Maryland preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and tech-savvy mindset
- Background check and child safety clearance required
