Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual lessons in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with California State Standards
- Track student progress using our proprietary learning management system
- Provide detailed feedback to parents and school partners monthly
- Participate in ongoing training on pedagogical best practices
- Collaborate with tutors to share resources and strategies
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student milestones
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred)
- CA Teaching Credential or equivalent tutoring certification
- 2+ years experience in K-12 education or virtual tutoring
- Proficiency in Google Classroom, Zoom, and LMS platforms
- Strong subject matter expertise in Math and/or Sciences
- Excellent communication skills with students and parents
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
