Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents and academic advisors regarding student development
- Utilize digital tools to create interactive learning materials and resources
- Maintain accurate session records and documentation in our student management system
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- State teaching certification (or equivalent) in Minnesota
- Expertise in core subjects: Math, Science, English, or Social Studies
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet) and digital learning platforms
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learners
- Background check and fingerprinting clearance required
- Availability for evening and weekend sessions
