Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual instruction across K-12 subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state standards and individual learning styles
- Track student progress using our proprietary LMS platform and provide detailed feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and academic coordinators
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, multimedia resources)
- Participate in ongoing professional development and curriculum training
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field
- 2+ years of tutoring/teaching experience (virtual preferred)
- Proficiency in video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet) and educational software
- Arizona teaching certification or equivalent subject matter expertise
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Background check and fingerprint clearance compliant with AZ requirements
