Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual lessons in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA)
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with CA state standards
- Utilize interactive tools (Zoom, Nearpod, Google Classroom) for dynamic sessions
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development
- Collaborate with curriculum team to refine teaching materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CA teaching credential preferred (not required for subject experts)
- 2+ years of virtual tutoring or classroom experience
- Proficiency in online learning platforms and digital assessment tools
- Strong communication skills with ability to motivate remote learners
- Clear background check and TB verification
- Availability for weekday evening and weekend sessions
