Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual instruction in core subjects (Math, ELA, Science)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with NY State curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and feedback sessions
- Utilize our interactive digital platform for seamless virtual classroom management
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements
- Collaborate with tutors to share best practices and resources
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or current enrollment)
- NYS Teaching Certification preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in remote tutoring or virtual teaching environments
- Strong knowledge of NY State Common Core standards
- Exceptional communication and digital literacy skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Availability for weekday evening and weekend sessions
- Background check clearance required
