Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with PA curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methodologies dynamically
- Utilize interactive digital platforms (Zoom, Kami, Nearpod) effectively
- Communicate progress to parents/guardians bi-weekly
- Create supplementary digital learning materials
- Participate in peer review and skill-sharing sessions
- Maintain accurate student progress documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field
- Minimum 2 years verified tutoring or teaching experience
- PA teaching certification or equivalent (preferred)
- Expertise in K-12 curriculum (STEM focus highly valued)
- Exceptional digital literacy and tech-savviness
- Strong diagnostic and adaptive teaching abilities
- Clear background check and child safety clearance
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions
