Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual lessons in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA)
- Adapt teaching strategies to individual student learning styles and needs
- Utilize our interactive platform for live video sessions and progress tracking
- Create customized lesson plans aligned with California State Standards
- Provide timely feedback and detailed progress reports to parents
- Collaborate with academic advisors to support student growth
- Maintain a positive, encouraging virtual classroom environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or current enrollment)
- Minimum 2 years tutoring/teaching experience (K-12 focus)
- Proficiency in virtual teaching tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong subject expertise in at least two core academic areas
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- CA teaching credential preferred but not required
- Background check clearance and reliable internet connection
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
