Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance reports to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, shared documents, multimedia resources) for effective instruction
- Maintain accurate session records and communicate regularly with academic coordinators
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance tutoring methodologies
- Prepare students for standardized tests and subject-specific assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, English, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of formal tutoring or teaching experience with proven student achievement results
- Expertise in at least 2 core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, History, Foreign Languages)
- Proficiency with virtual classroom technology (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse learning needs
- State teaching certification or relevant tutoring credentials (e.g., CRLA)
- Background check and fingerprinting clearance
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (minimum 15 hours/week)
