Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in core academic subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed performance feedback
- Utilize digital platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, interactive whiteboards) effectively
- Communicate progress with parents/guardians and academic advisors
- Participate in ongoing professional development training
- Maintain accurate session records and student documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field required
- Valid NC teaching certification preferred
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Expertise in K-12 math, science, or language arts curriculum
- Strong technological proficiency with online teaching tools
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
