Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual student needs
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed performance reports to parents and educators
- Utilize digital tools and multimedia resources to enhance learning outcomes
- Maintain accurate session logs and student records in our CRM system
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address learning challenges and adjust teaching strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field
- 2+ years of formal tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in online tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts simply
- Maryland teaching certification preferred but not required
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Residency in Baltimore metropolitan area required
