Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging 1-on-1 and small group online tutoring sessions via our virtual platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with California curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents/guardians
- Utilize digital tools to create interactive learning materials and assessments
- Maintain accurate session records and academic progress documentation
- Collaborate with academic coordinators to optimize student learning outcomes
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance tutoring methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field
- Minimum 2 years verified tutoring or teaching experience
- California teaching credential or equivalent certification preferred
- Expertise in core K-12 subjects (Math, Science, ELA, History)
- Proficiency with video conferencing and educational technology
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural competency
- Ability to conduct sessions during after-school/evening hours (4-8 PM PST)
