Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core academic subjects
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with San Diego curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed progress reports to parents
- Utilize our interactive digital platform for seamless lesson delivery
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address student learning gaps
- Maintain accurate session documentation and student records
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years teaching/tutoring experience with K-12 or college students
- CA teaching certification or equivalent academic credentials
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple students
- Passion for education and commitment to student success
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home workspace
