Responsibilities
- Virtual Instruction: Deliver high-quality, personalized one-on-one tutoring sessions via our secure, interactive online classroom.
- Curriculum Development: Create and adapt lesson plans tailored to each student's specific learning style, pace, and academic goals.
- Student Engagement: Foster a supportive and encouraging virtual environment that motivates students to overcome challenges and build confidence.
- Progress Monitoring: Track student performance through quizzes and assessments, providing constructive feedback to parents and guardians.
- Tool Proficiency: Utilize digital whiteboards, screen sharing, and video conferencing tools effectively to enhance the learning experience.
- Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication with students and parents regarding session schedules and student progress.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject is preferred; current students in education-related fields are also considered.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Deep knowledge of one or more subjects (e.g., Algebra, Geometry, Biology, History) with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Technical Skills: Reliable high-speed internet connection and proficiency with standard computer applications and video conferencing software.
- Patience & Empathy: A patient teaching style with the ability to adapt to different learning speeds and behavioral needs.
- Reliability: Ability to adhere to a scheduled work calendar and punctuality standards.
