Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards
- Track student progress using our analytics dashboard and provide detailed feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents and students regarding academic goals and achievements
- Utilize multimedia tools (digital whiteboards, simulations, etc.) to enhance learning experiences
- Maintain accurate session records and contribute to curriculum improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (or equivalent coursework)
- 1+ years of tutoring or teaching experience, preferably in virtual settings
- Expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, English, or Social Studies)
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools and educational technology
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learners
- Valid Texas teaching certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Background check clearance and reliable home office setup with high-speed internet
