Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in Math, Science, or English
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with Georgia curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance reports
- Utilize interactive digital tools (Zoom, Kami, Nearpod) for engaging lessons
- Communicate progress and strategies to parents/guardians monthly
- Collaborate with curriculum team to refine teaching materials
- Participate in quarterly professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field
- Georgia teaching certification preferred (or equivalent state certification)
- Minimum 2 years tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual classroom technology and digital assessment tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Clear background check and fingerprinting clearance
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Availability for weekday afternoons/evenings (3-8 PM EST)
