Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 virtual tutoring sessions in core academic subjects
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with Georgia curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance reports
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations) for dynamic lessons
- Communicate progress with parents/guardians monthly
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
- Maintain accurate session records in our learning management system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Georgia teaching certification preferred (not required for non-core subjects)
- Minimum 2 years tutoring/teaching experience
- Expertise in at least one core subject (Math, ELA, Science, History)
- Proficiency with virtual classroom technology (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Background check clearance required
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet workspace
