Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual instruction in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Texas state standards and student needs
- Utilize interactive digital tools (Zoom, virtual whiteboards, educational software)
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance reports to parents
- Collaborate with academic advisors to optimize learning strategies
- Maintain a positive, encouraging virtual classroom environment
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Texas teaching certification preferred (not required for subject specialists)
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
