Responsibilities
- Virtual Instruction: Conduct engaging one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions via Zoom, Google Meet, or our proprietary LMS platform.
- Curriculum Development: Design and customize lesson plans tailored to the specific learning styles and academic goals of individual students.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, and interactive activities to track improvement.
- Student Support: Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to foster a positive and growth-oriented learning environment.
- Technical Assistance: Help students navigate online platforms and troubleshoot basic technical issues to ensure seamless sessions.
- Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with students and parents regarding schedules, assignments, and academic progress.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Math, Science, History, or a related field (Master’s degree or teaching certification is a plus).
- Experience: Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring students in a formal or informal setting (1+ years preferred).
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Organization: Excellent time management skills and the ability to plan lessons effectively.
- Reliability: A dependable work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and attendance.
