Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA)
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with Baltimore County curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress using our proprietary analytics dashboard
- Communicate progress updates and actionable insights to parents monthly
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address specific learning gaps
- Maintain 95%+ session attendance and punctuality rate
- Participate in ongoing professional development training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Valid Maryland teaching certification preferred
- 2+ years experience tutoring or teaching grades K-12
- Proficiency in virtual platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural competency
- Expertise in at least 2 core subjects (Math/Science/ELA)
- Background check clearance required
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
