Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, etc.)
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with curriculum standards and student goals
- Monitor progress through regular assessments and adjust teaching strategies
- Maintain detailed session notes and progress reports for parents/educators
- Utilize our digital platform for scheduling, resource sharing, and communication
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address learning gaps
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (required)
- 1+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- State teaching certification preferred (MA certification a plus)
- Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage remote learners
- Expertise in at least 2 core academic subjects
- Background check and reference verification required
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home workspace
