Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small group virtual lessons in core academic subjects
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with Chicago Public Schools curriculum
- Track student progress and provide detailed progress reports to parents
- Utilize our interactive digital platform for seamless lesson delivery
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and academic coordinators
- Participate in monthly professional development workshops
- Maintain accurate session records and student documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Illinois teaching certification preferred (not required)
- 2+ years tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Expertise in one or more core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, etc.)
- Proficiency with video conferencing and digital learning tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with students
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Background check clearance required
