We provide full training, curriculum resources, and ongoing support to ensure your success.
Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 virtual tutoring sessions in Math, Science, or English for K-12 students
- Develop personalized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student goals
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize our digital platform for interactive whiteboard sessions and resource sharing
- Maintain accurate session logs and academic records in our tutoring management system
- Collaborate with our academic team to address student-specific learning challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM field, or related subject (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ years of formal tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual teaching tools (Zoom, interactive whiteboards, etc.)
- Strong communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Illinois teaching certification preferred but not required
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (Chicago time zone)
