Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Ohio state standards and student needs
- Track student progress using our LMS and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and goals
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops and team meetings
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student interactions
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to refine tutoring methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred)
- Ohio teaching certification or equivalent tutoring experience
- Minimum 2 years of virtual classroom or online tutoring experience
- Expertise in K-12 curriculum (STEM focus highly valued)
- Strong technological proficiency with video conferencing and digital learning tools
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural competency
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learning styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office setup
