Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Texas curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents
- Utilize digital platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, our proprietary LMS) for seamless instruction
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
- Collaborate with academic coordinators to address student needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Texas teaching certification or equivalent academic credentials
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in online tutoring platforms and digital tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least 2 core subjects
- Background check clearance required
