Responsibilities
- Provide 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Texas curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods for diverse learning styles
- Communicate progress with parents and EduConnect coordinators weekly
- Utilize digital platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom) for seamless remote instruction
- Prepare students for standardized tests (SAT, STAAR) and subject-specific exams
- Maintain accurate session notes and achievement records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field
- Texas teaching certification or equivalent tutoring experience
- 2+ years experience with K-12 or college-level instruction
- Proficiency in virtual teaching tools and digital assessment methods
- Strong bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills
- Proven ability to motivate students and build rapport remotely
- Background check and fingerprint clearance
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
