Responsibilities

- Develop Custom Lesson Plans: Create and adapt curriculum materials to ensure comprehension and retention of complex topics.
- Foster Engagement: Utilize interactive tools and digital whiteboards to maintain student interest and participation throughout the lesson.
- Track Progress: Monitor student performance and provide constructive, actionable feedback to parents and guardians to ensure continuous improvement.
- Communicate Effectively: Serve as a primary point of contact for students and families, maintaining a professional and encouraging demeanor at all times.
- Stay Updated: Continuously improve your subject matter knowledge and tutoring techniques through our provided training resources.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field is preferred; equivalent teaching/tutoring experience is accepted.
- Experience: Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students in K-12 settings.
- Location Requirement: Must reside in El Paso, TX, or be willing to work fully remote within the United States with high-speed internet.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using video conferencing software, learning management systems, and online educational tools.
