Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one or small group online tutoring sessions via video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, or our proprietary LMS).
- Develop customized lesson plans and study materials tailored to each student's specific learning style and academic needs.
- Mentor students through complex coursework, homework assistance, and exam preparation.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents/guardians.
- Maintain a professional and encouraging virtual environment to foster student engagement and confidence.
- Adhere to strict scheduling requirements and punctuality standards for all assigned sessions.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education, the subject you wish to tutor, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience (1+ years) is a plus but not always required for subject matter experts.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Proficiency with basic computer software and video conferencing tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends to accommodate diverse student schedules.
