Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual lessons via our interactive platform
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with student goals and curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development
- Utilize digital teaching tools (whiteboards, shared documents, screen sharing) for dynamic sessions
- Maintain accurate session records and progress reports in our tutoring portal
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent teaching experience)
- Texas state teaching certification preferred (not required for all subjects)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Expert knowledge in at least one core subject (Math, Science, English, etc.)
- Proficiency with video conferencing and digital learning tools
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to adapt teaching methods
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Background check clearance required
