The Role
In this position, you will deliver high-quality, one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to the unique needs of each student. Whether you specialize in Math, Science, English, or Test Prep, your expertise will help students unlock their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions via our secure, proprietary learning platform.
- Develop customized lesson plans and learning materials based on initial student assessments and curriculum requirements.
- Adapt teaching strategies dynamically to accommodate diverse learning styles and paces.
- Provide constructive, encouraging feedback to students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with curriculum coordinators to update course content and ensure alignment with educational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of session attendance, student performance, and feedback logs.
- Respond promptly to student inquiries and support messages within designated hours.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field of study.
- Strong command of English with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions.
- Passion for education and the ability to inspire students remotely through digital means.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to accommodate the schedules of K-12 and college students.
- Background in standardized testing (SAT, ACT, GRE, MCAT) is a plus but not required.
