Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions for students in K-12 grade levels, ensuring personalized attention.
- Adapt teaching methodologies to meet individual student needs, learning styles, and academic goals.
- Develop and deliver custom lesson plans and supplementary study materials tailored to curriculum standards.
- Monitor student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to parents and guardians to drive improvement.
- Maintain a professional, encouraging, and supportive online environment that inspires student engagement.
- Collaborate with academic coordinators to refine curriculum and teaching strategies for optimal results.
- Manage online classroom tools and learning management systems effectively to facilitate seamless instruction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Valid Teaching Certification (TEKS certified in Texas is a significant advantage).
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching K-12 subjects in a virtual or traditional setting.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts clearly.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
