Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state standards and student goals
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, shared documents, progress trackers) for effective instruction
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to enhance teaching methodologies
- Maintain accurate session logs and student achievement documentation
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM, or related field (required)
- 1+ years of tutoring or teaching experience (K-12 focus preferred)
- Expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, ELA, History)
- Proficiency with video conferencing and digital learning tools
- Strong communication skills with ability to adapt teaching styles
- Valid teaching license or relevant certification (highly valued)
- Background check clearance and reliable internet connection
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (min. 15 hrs/week)
