Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and curriculum standards
- Track student progress through our digital dashboard and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize interactive whiteboards, screen sharing, and multimedia resources for dynamic lessons
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and areas for improvement
- Participate in ongoing training on pedagogical strategies and platform updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent teaching experience)
- Minimum 2 years tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet) and educational software
- Nevada teaching certification preferred (not required for all subjects)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least one core academic area
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to adapt teaching styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office environment
