Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning styles and curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed performance feedback to parents/clients
- Utilize digital whiteboards, screen-sharing, and multimedia resources for dynamic instruction
- Maintain accurate session logs and academic progress documentation
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address student challenges and adjust teaching strategies
- Participate in ongoing professional development and curriculum enhancement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM, Humanities, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of verified teaching/tutoring experience with proven student achievement results
- Expertise in at least 2 subjects (e.g., Calculus, Literature, SAT/ACT Prep)
- Proficiency with virtual classroom technologies (Zoom, Google Classroom, tutoring platforms)
- CA teaching certification or equivalent tutoring credentials
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to adapt to diverse learning needs
- Background check clearance and reliable high-speed internet connection
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (Pacific Time)
